Saturday 12 April turned into an expedition into the world of Tiyo. We opened the doors of our laboratories and offices and invited the families and friends of our colleagues for a day of exploration. Finally, everyone could find out what we actually do when we disappear behind the gates of Tiyo.
Each of our engineers and technicians became a guide to their loved ones for the day. They showed how our test labs work, what it takes to test or what developing batteries for electric mobility looks like.
Because we know that discovery is the best form of learning, we invited a bunch of enthusiasts from the Amazing Theatre of Physics. Their booths with experiments became the centre of attention. Children and adults alike tested the laws of physics and chemistry and discovered that science can be a properly fascinating adventure.
The connection with the IDEF made sense. Physics and chemistry aren't just theories in textbooks, they are the foundation of our work. We use them every day in developments for automotive, aerospace technologies.
It was a day of discovery. For the visitors and for us. It showed that when you let families into the technical world of Tiyo, it creates unforgettable experiences and lots of new questions. And that's exactly what us at Tiyo enjoy. We're looking for answers and pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
