High-Precision Airbag Deployment Analysis

Our facility conducts static deployment tests for all airbag types (CAB, Knee, Passenger, Side) in controlled climatic conditions (-35 °C to +100 °C). Testing can be performed inside large climate chambers (3.200 x 5.500 x 2.400 mm) accommodating components up to full BIW chassis, or outside using a rail system. The Microsys Surefire 6 test system provides precise control with 6+ firing channels, while 10 high-speed cameras (5.000 fps) and 12 high-intensity LED lights ensure detailed deployment visualization with 1 MHz data acquisition.

Comprehensive Testing Support & Compliance

We provide complete testing support including fixture design/manufacturing, supply chain coordination, and detailed documentation. Our facility offers safe customer viewing areas with data connections, prompt test report delivery, and flexible sample storage. All testing complies with standards including PV 3545/3546/3550, AK-LV 01, and VW 82511/82513, with post-test sample recycling through certified companies. The service is complemented by access to a wide range of additional accredited tests available in-house.

EQUIPMENT

10 units of high-speed cameras: IDT Model OS7 S2, Motion Pro Y3, 1920 × 1080 @5.000 fps). Mounting outside the chamber
12 units of full LED high intensity lights for in-the-chamber application
DAQ system: variable sample rates of up to 1 MHz for a single channel
Measurement of firing voltage and power, resistance, timing
6 firing channels – extendable
Analogue input channels with 16-bit resolution, 0,2 % accuracy
