7 - MIXED FLOWING GAS (MFG) CORROSION TESTING

Our mixed flowing gas testing facility evaluates corrosion impacts on electronic components from PCB level to complete assemblies using Vötsch AirEvent test chambers (120 l and 380 l). Testing accommodates powered samples with continuous functionality monitoring in precisely controlled environments (15-60°C, 10-93 % humidity). The system utilizes various test gases including SO2, H2S, NO2, and Cl2 with specific carrier gases and controlled concentrations (up to 25 ppm for most gases, 1ppm for Cl2) to simulate diverse corrosive environments.
We provide complete project management and detailed post-testing analysis through our dedicated microscope laboratory. Our services include sample preparation, testing support, results consultancy, and accommodation of special customer requirements. All testing procedures comply with relevant international standards including IEC 60068 2-60, IEC 60068 2-42/43, ISO 16750-4, and ISO 21207, ensuring reliable corrosion resistance evaluation for electronics in demanding applications.
