8 - ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING IN CLIMATIC CHAMBERS

Our facility operates over 50 climatic chambers (0.1 m³ to 105 m³) accommodating components to full vehicles, with temperature control from -70 °C to +180 °C and humidity from 10 - 90%. Four shock chambers provide rapid temperature transitions from -80 °C to +250 °C. We test automotive components under controlled conditions with additional loading capabilities, measuring force, torque, displacement, speed, acceleration, and temperature, complemented by contactless photogrammetry for dimensional stability.
We enhance testing with Zeis Quality -Tritop photogrammetry, a collaborative UR robot with 6-axis measuring, and multichannel force/torque sensing. Specialized equipment includes door slam testing apparatus and servo-controlled actuators. All testing adheres to automotive standards including PV 1200, PV 2005A, and various ISO/OEM specifications, providing comprehensive environmental validation under demanding conditions.
