The theme "DIY or the golden Czech hands" brings inspiration not only to upcoming developers

With the arrival of autumn, current and future automotive developers are meeting for the sixteenth time in Lázně Bělohrad at the prestigious VVA seminar. This year's edition, taking place on November 21, 2024, carries the subtitle "DIY or the golden Czech hands" and offers a diverse program focused on innovative solutions in the automotive industry.

The tradition connecting generations of developers

Since 2008, the VVA seminar has created a unique platform for sharing experiences between professionals from the automotive sector and the upcoming generation of developers. In a Czech-English environment, experts from manufacturing companies, development centers, and academia meet here.

This year's program is also full of inspiring solutions

This year's program offers a fascinating look at innovative approaches in automotive development. Among the highlights is a lecture on the sustainable use of old bumpers for the production of new ones by Ing. Lukáš Zuzánek from ŠKODA AUTO. Equally interesting will be an insight into the development of a propane heat pump for automotive applications by Ondřej Švanda from SATTELO.

From student formula to hydrogen research

The program offers a wide range of topics - from the presentation of the student formula project by the CULS Prague formula racing team to a lecture on the challenges of hydrogen research by Ing. Aleš Doucek from ÚJV Řež. Laurent Hoffer from Faurecia Automotive Slovakia will bring an interesting insight into industrial practice.

Space for unconventional solutions

Special attention deserves the lecture on non-standard solutions to standard tasks by Ing. Martin Mihulka from Tiyo a.s., which perfectly illustrates this year's theme "DIY or the golden Czech hands." Equally interesting is the unconventional connection between geology and engineering in the lecture "When vertical is not vertical."

Networking as added value

The full-day program also includes regular refreshment breaks and a final networking block, which provides space for informal discussions and establishing new professional contacts.
