We have accreditation for EMC immunity. And that's not all

Our laboratory in Hořice has expanded its accreditation to include EMC immunity and is introducing antistatic properties testing according to PV 3977. We now cover the complete spectrum of EMC testing and are increasing the range of services for the automotive industry.

EMC services under one roof

We are pleased to announce that our laboratory has successfully expanded its accreditation scope to include EMC immunity measurements. This step represents a significant milestone in our technical development and confirms our expertise in the field of electromagnetic compatibility. Thanks to this expansion in terms of technological equipment and expertise, we are now able to perform accredited testing of both emissions and immunity, thereby completing another piece of the puzzle in comprehensive EMC requirements coverage.

And we are expanding antistatic properties testing

We are advancing our testing capabilities offering with the newly introduced method for determining antistatic properties according to the PV 3977 specification. This method is particularly crucial in the automotive industry, where it is necessary to ensure that plastic parts do not generate electrostatic charge that could affect electronics or attract contaminants in the form of dust.

The method focuses on measuring surface resistance and electrostatic behavior of materials. We test how quickly and efficiently electrostatic charge is dissipated from the surface, which is important for:

  • ensuring cleanliness of interior components
  • limiting electrostatic discharge
Štefan Kulina, Tiyo

„An interesting fact is that we assembled the testing equipment for this method ourselves according to the requirements of the PV 3977 specification.“

ŠTEFAN KULINA - Laboratory Management System Manager
