Discover Hořice in a whole new way! Tiyo launches the regional project tyjovyzva.cz
Eight stories, eight challenges. This interactive trail offers
a new way to Hořice. It brings together physical activity
and the local community.
Tiyo is taking its long-term collaboration with Hořice sports teams and clubs to the next level. It is launching the tyjovyzva.cz project, which combines the company’s philosophy with eight supported sports facilities, clubs, and activities. This unique interactive trail offers residents and visitors to Hořice a new way to experience life in this town - actively, enjoyably, and through real human stories.
“Three-quarters of our nearly 150 employees are from Hořice and the surrounding area. We care about ensuring they have a good quality of life in the town and plenty of opportunities for meaningful leisure activities,” explains Tiyo co-owner Petr Havlík, why the company supports sports facilities and clubs in Hořice.
The tyjovyzva.cz project is a further deepening of this collaboration. “Our long-term goal is for Tiyo to be not only a successful company, but also a useful one that benefits the region,” says Petr Havlík.
An outdoor ice rink, the Zahrada leisure complex, the Gymland fitness center, a climbing wall, the Hořice Aeroclub, an orienteering club, an indoor swimming pool, and an auto-moto club that organizes the famous Gustav Havel 300 Curves race. Eight places, eight challenges, and eight stories, each with real people behind them.

A different perspective on Hořice
The tyjovyzva.cz project brings together physical activity, inspiring ideas, and the local community. You’ll learn how a single sightseeing flight can completely change a person’s life, how much effort it took to transform an old toy store into a modern fitness center, and how one person managed to get dozens of people excited about rock climbing.
“It’s a different perspective on Hořice. When the achievements of people who have built something from scratch and serve the public are highlighted, it benefits the town and the Podkrkonoší region,” says Hořice Mayor Martin Pour.
The stories of the ambassadors who were there at the beginning or who played a significant role in the development of a sports facility or club are examples of perseverance, mental resilience, and the desire to fulfill one’s dreams. “Courage and initiative allow you to do things your own way—that applies to our company as well. After all, the story of its history itself is proof of that,” notes Petr Havlík.
A Signal of Support
The list of challenges is not final; more will be added gradually. “It’s an original idea for presenting the diverse sports and cultural life in our region in an engaging way,” says one of the project’s ambassadors, Lukáš Orct, founder of the Kluho association, which initiated the creation of the outdoor ice rink.
For him, the return of the skating tradition to Hořice was the fulfillment of a childhood dream. “For the rink, this is also a strong signal of support from a major local partner, which helps reinforce its perception as an important place for gathering and spending time actively,” adds Lukáš Orct.
At each of the eight stops, visitors will find a sticker, banner, or sign featuring a target, a number, and a QR code linking to the web application tyjovyzva.cz. In addition to stories, users will find a photo gallery that includes historical images. The project’s visual symbol is a distinctive target; the largest one is located on the Tiyo building on Příčná Street.
